Synopsis:

Rising Water is a heart-stopping, spine-tingling thriller that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats from the first frame to the final credit. At its core, the film tells the story of the Bakers, a family of four who find themselves trapped in their home when a massive flood overtakes their town. As the waters rise, the Bakers desperately search for a way to escape, but every road and bridge is cut off, leaving them with no way out.

The father, David, is a man who prides himself on his preparedness for emergencies. However, as the flood waters continue to rise, he realizes that he has never faced anything like this before. As he fights to keep his family safe, he begins to unravel, haunted by the sense of helplessness that comes with being unable to protect the ones he loves most.

David's wife, Sarah, is a woman who has always put her family first. As she tries to keep her children calm, despite the terror that surrounds them, she also must keep her husband from spiraling out of control. As the flood waters continue to rise, Sarah is forced to confront the fact that her family may not make it out alive.

Their two children, 14-year old Ava and 8-year-old Tyler, represent a glimmer of hope in the darkness of Rising Water. In the face of overwhelming circumstances, they find the strength to stand up to the terror that surrounds them. But even their youthful bravery may not be enough to save the family from what lurks beneath the turgid waters of their flooded home.

As the Bakers grapple with the rising waters around them, they soon realize that they are not alone. Something else is moving in the waters, something that is not from this world and is far more terrifying than anything they have ever faced before.

The central conflict of Rising Water is the family's struggle to escape the rising flood waters while also protecting themselves from the unknown terror that lies within. The film builds tension throughout, with each passing moment bringing the Bakers closer and closer to their breaking point. The final plot point hinges on a single decision, one that will determine whether the family will survive the rising tide or whether they will be consumed by the darkness that lies beneath.

In the end, Rising Water delivers a shocking, unforgettable conclusion that will leave viewers breathless. As the credits roll, audiences will be left with one haunting thought - could something like this really happen?
